CIOE 2021 (The 23rd China International Optoelectronic Exposition), known as the leading optoelectronic exhibition in the world, will be held at Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center on September 1-3. One of CIOE flagship subexpo - Information and Communication Expo is the annual gathering event for professionals to source the latest datacom and telecom products and to learn about the optical communications market trends.
Due to the rapid development of data center, cloud computing, 5G, optical communication becomes such an high-profile industry attracting all attentions. Besides the tradition hot seller optical module, silicon photonics is another brightest star in the industry and it’s believed to be the future decided technology. Two international level forums of Silicon photonics will be concurrently held with CIOE 2021 to probe into the status quo, research and potential applications so as to help peers to take a peek into the future.

One of the key roles that EU-PolarNet 2 strives to play in the upcoming years is to increase the coordination of polar research activities at the European level, which also needs a better understanding of what is done at the national level.
