25 August Memorandum Promotes Open-Access and Equity for Data Science on National Level (US)

The White House’s (USA) Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) releases memo to grant open-access to all data resulting from federally funded research.

Updates and Reminder to Vote

On 9 September 2022, we sent out the final iterations of our Constitution and Bylaws for a member vote. Please review your email for the call to vote; you can also vote here directly. We sincerely appreciate your feedback on these documents. We are excited for you to see our vision for WDS for the coming years.

By mid September, you will hear from Meredith or Sarah about renewing your MOU with World Data System. This will be a great opportunity for our members (and for us) to update data about our partnership.

By the end of September, you will see the new WDS website (preview above) with updated information and updated member services.

We look forward to hearing from each of you in the coming months. Please reach out and provide feedback on these services and let us know how we can further empower and advocate for you and your repository through our resources.
